Humane Society Donations.
As many of you may have heard, a puppy farm was recently raided in the Waimanalo area. Over 150 dogs were found in horrible conditions, having feces and urine in their food and water bowls, along with their waste covered all over their malnurished bodies. These poor animals had been living in these inhumane small kennels for some time. Thank god there was a noise complaint from the neighbors or else who knows how long these poor dogs and puppies would be living in such ill conditions.
All of the 153 dogs and puppies from this farm have been taken to the Hawaiian Humane Society to be properly cared for and nursed back to health. Unfortunately, these puppies are not able to be adopted at this moment due to the ongoing investigation. That being said, there is a large number of perfect dogs that are in desperate need of homes due to the overwhelming number of animals that are currently residing at the Humane Society. The Society is also in desperate need of food, supplies, blankets, towels, and the like to care for these puppies. If you have any of the above or would like to donate monetary funds, that would be greatly appreciated. One of our agents, Joey Ann Kempson, who is a huge dog and animal advocate, has already collected and donated 12 bags of dog food along with towels, blankets, and over $700 of monetary funds (Century 21 Kailua Beach Realty donated $100 to the cause). If you would like to donate to this cause please feel free to drop off anything you may have at our Century 21 Kailua Beach Realty office located at 130 Kailua Rd Suite 110 and we would be more than happy to take all the supplies down to the Humane Society. These puppies really could use as much help as possible. Thank you!
