The Hawaii Vacation Rental bill otherwise known as the Senate Bill 2089 has been deferred. This bill would require vacation rental owners, who currently live off island, to acquire the services of an on island property manager. The FHFA, otherwise known as the Federal Housing Finance Agency, has recently released a plan on how to manage mortgage lenders, Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac.
