The Hawaii Vacation Rental bill otherwise known as the Senate Bill 2089 has been deferred. This bill would require vacation rental owners, who currently live off island, to acquire the services of an on island property manager. No Rain, No Rainbows..

It has been very wet and rainy lately. Some may say its ugly out while others, like myself, think its absolutely gorgeous in a completely different way. Please do try to stay dry and warm but open your eyes and take a look around and see how beautiful our surroundings are even when we least expect it! Rain does indeed equal Rainbows!

The FHFA, otherwise known as the Federal Housing Finance Agency, has recently released a plan on how to manage mortgage lenders, Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac. The basic plan includes increasing the fee that are charged to the borrowers in the hopes that it would increase the cost and therefore force mortgage borrowers to turn to the private company sectors for mortgage lending.
